Program Update for April 2013
“Benny And The Jets” available to visit Packs and Troops
The Winnebago Council’s robotics team, “Benny And The Jets” are available to visit Pack or Troop meetings to promote the council’s STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) initiatives. Benny is the robot and is accompanied by a team of Boy Scouts that are able to remote control his actions. If you are interested in Benny attending one of your meetings, please contact Janell Wright at 319-833-0026.
Summer Camp Merit Badges
The merit badge block schedules and pre-requisites were distributed at the February and March Roundtables. The sign-up forms will be available on-line at the April Roundtables. The pre-requisites listed are only those requirements necessary to participate in the badge at camp. Many of the badges offered at camp will have additional requirements that will need to be completed outside of camp, but usually after receiving training and instruction. If Scouts choose to complete these requirements prior to attending, they will need to bring proof from their Scoutmaster to get these signed off.

They meet at the horse barn at Ingawanis Adventure Base and are planning on meeting on April 7th at 2 pm. Please dress for the weather, including long pants and hard-soled shoes. This meeting will be horse familiarization and planning for the season. If you have any questions, please contact Crew President Keely Kangas at [email protected].
