During the beautiful weekend of April 11, some local units headed out to Kiwanis Bluff Park of Cedar Falls. The Scouts of Troop 42 planned on doing some community service. They organized, in conjunction with Troop 44 & Packs 42, 44, 55, 87, and 158. Forty-six total Scouts participated in this project. They worked from 11:00AM-12:30PM raking & bagging leaves, pick up trash, and moving unwanted tree limbs that had fallen. The goal was to have 100 Scouts this year, which they plan to make their goal for next year too. Check out some of their service in the photos below which include a group shot of everyone who pitch in to lend a helping hand.
