The Winnebago Council has been allocated 8 Venturing spots in their 2017 National Jamboree Contingent and is looking for young men and women who would be interested in attending the event in July 2017 at the Bechtel Summit in West Virginia. Interested youth will need to be registered in Scouting and be between 14 and 21 years of age during the event. In addition to the events at the Jamboree the contingent is planning a visit to the Pro Football or Rock and Roll Hall of Fames, Gettysburg National Battlefield, Washington D.C., and more.
