Greetings from the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Chapter 94 in Mason City.
For the past several years, EAA Chapter 94 has hosted a Young Eagles Rally, which is a great opportunity for youngsters aged 8 to 17 to spend a Saturday morning learning about aviation, and get a ride in an airplane. And it’s FREE.
This year’s Young Eagles Rally will be held on Saturday, June 18th at the Mason City Airport. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.
This is a great opportunity for area Boy Scouts to experience aviation first hand. There will be aviation related displays, and a “walk around tour” of an airplane on the ground, pointing out the major components and controls. Each youngster will receive a T-shirt and other items, as well as free pizza for lunch.
