May is a busy month with schools letting out, family vacations starting up, and Scouting events ramping up. Here at the Scout shop it is no different. Here is what we have coming up for this month.
Graduation: We know there are lots of graduations taking place from Cubs moving up in rank to crossing over into Scouts BSA and Scouts BSA members graduating from high school. If you are an Eagle or know one that is graduating from high school, we have graduation cords for Eagle Scouts to wear as they head down the aisle to get their diploma.
Speaking of Eagles, there are a whole bunch of eaglets aka Scouts that are now full-fledged Eagle Scouts. To celebrate this accomplishment, we have many familiar items but also new ones from decorations and invites to gifts for the Scout and the Scout’s parents.
Promotions running now include:
T-shirt aka Class B Blowout until May 12th. We have nearly 40 tees on sale with the majority already marked down plus you get an extra 25% off. Many of these tees have a good selection of sizes and are available for youth boys and girls and adult men and women. There is a tee for everyone and a price for everyone’s budget.
Cub Scout Uniform sale is still going on but will come to a close on May 31st. Until that date, purchase a Cub Scout blue uniform bottom and get 25% of the purchase of a Cub Scout blue uniform shirt. This is a good deal for those Lions who are crossing over into Tigers and need to get ready for upcoming camps and parades.
Now is the time to think about and get ready for the camping season. May 13-18th we will have special discounts on all camping gear, regular or clearance priced. If you are in need of a new backpack or sleeping bad or even a dutch oven, this promotion is perfect for those bigger purchases.
Also thinking towards camp, Scouts BSA members will be needing Merit Badge Pamphlet/Books for upcoming resident camps. We have a box full for half priced books all with a photocopy of the most recent requirements tucked inside. There are even 3-4 Eagle required books, which go fast, as well as 2 books that are only $.99.
