Denver, Iowa, Troop 118 Eagle Scout (pictured front row on the right) is a Graduate of the Class of 2015 at Denver High School. Nick Sabelka maintained a 4.0 grade point average during his four years in high school. The Waterloo, Cedar Falls Courier reports that 7 Valedictorians were named out of the Graduating Class of 2015. The overall class size was 42 students. Denver Schools says having 7 Valedictorians is unheard. “I’ve been here for 12 years and we’ve had two a couple of times, but other than that we’ve always had one,” said Paul Gebel, Denver’s secondary principal. Later in the article Superintendent of Schools, Brad Laures, mentions that the seven students had an overall composite ACT Score of 31 out of 36.
