Do you have flags that need to be retired? We have a few places that you can drop them off to be properly retired!
You can bring them to the Winnebago Council Service Center at 2929 Airport Boulevard in Waterloo near the airport. We will then give them to Troop 95 in Jesup as they do a semiannual retirement ceremony in conjunction with the American Legion.
The VFW in Independence will also take your flags that need to be retired. (319) 334-4619
Conrad also has a drop off at the American Legion (102 East Center Street, Conrad) and does a retirement ceremony once a year.
