Jamboree 2013 Fundraiser
We have a great fundraiser for you to help with your 2013 Jamboree trip expenses. Later this summer as football season starts, our council’s Jamboree Scouts will be able to sell 3D Spirit Cups with the logos of the buyer’s favorite NFL team, Major League Baseball team, most college sports teams (Iowa and Iowa State, but not available for UNI), military branch, and new for this year, NFL pink breast cancer awareness cups. All available cup designs can be viewed at www.spiritcups.com.
The cups hold 18 oz, are great for cold drinks, and are dishwasher safe. The cups have a very attractive and colorful 3D holographic design, and with the many logos offered will be sure to be a hit with any sports fan. The cups are 100% made in the USA and are BPA free. Cups are sold in sets of 4 (one team, can’t mix and match), $15 per set. Scouts will receive the full $5-$6 per set profit to help with their Jamboree expenses (profit increases as group sales reach 500 and 1,000 sets). These make inexpensive Christmas gifts as the customer can separate the cup sets into four gifts at $3.75 each. This fundraiser was very popular in Charles City last year, and we believe it is a good fit and easy sell for our Jamboree Scouts.
Sales will start on August 4th, and end September 5th, so Scouts can sell to family and friends over Labor Day weekend. Orders will be taken for delivery in late September/early October, and money will be collected at time of order. You will have a sample 3D Spirit Cup to show your prospective team customers, so we need to know how many sample cups to order (the $1.50 cost of the sample cup will be deducted from each individual’s profits). Please contact the Waterloo Scout office at 319-234-2867 to let us know that you want a sample cup to be ordered for you and delivered to your home troop scoutmaster.
