The Winnebago Council has been selected as a pilot council for the new Lion Cub program for Kindergarten boys. Packs interested in participating in the pilot will need to apply through their district executive for permission and to receive their materials. Lion Dens will require a minimum of six boys and their adult partners and an experienced Den Leader to serve as their Lion Guide. Applications will be available through your district executive by the middle of May. This program runs only during the school year, Lions may not sell popcorn or attend overnight camping events with the rest of the pack. It is intended solely as an introductory program to Scouting. Lion Cubs will receive their own activity workbook and will have a Lion Cub T-shirt as their official uniform. For further information, please contact your district executive.
