Greetings Ladies and Gentlemen,
To start off we want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who donated to our World Friendship Fund! In store we raised $262.00, putting us at 105% of our goal! $77,280.00 was raised as an organization. For those that do not know about the World Friendship Fund, it is a fundraiser that runs from February 1st-15th. The money raised goes right back into the Scouting program to help Scouts get the most out of Scouting. This is accomplished by rebuilding camps and units that were damaged or destroyed in natural disasters, purchasing buses to get scouts to camp in areas where people have limited access to vehicles.
Now to “meat and potatoes” of this little section. NEW ITEMS! The store is full of new items and here is the breakdown. In store NOW: Girl’s & Ladies’ uniform shirts, Girl’s, Ladies’ & Women’s roll-up capris, shorts, leggings, and various accessories. Girl’s Handbook, Den Chief, Sr. Patrol Leader, Patrol Leader, Troop Leader Guide v. 1 & 2, Program Features v. 1, 2 & 3, Troop Committee Handbooks/Guidebooks. Coming this week: Women’s uniform shirts, bandanna, 2019 Collector’s Cap, insulated Eagle Scout parent tumbler, and redesigned Shark, Pirate and Pirate Ahoy Regatta decals. The week of March 11th: Improved BSA Handbook cover and BSA requirements 2019. Coming the week of March 18th: Bear Necessities tote bag, and Lion Den Flag. Finally for March we expect to have BSA and Eagle Scout swiveling cell phone rings, Aussie Hat with sun shield, Cub Scout Girls’ Skort size 14 and Guide to Safe Scouting 2019.
Yes we just spoke of new items, but we would be remiss if we didn’t mention the large selection of CLEARANCE we have in store. We have t-shirts, patches, craft, camping and party items. We also have gifts on clearance like insulated water bottles, bags of various sizes, and wallets.
Finally, don’t forget to bring in the family when you stop in. We have activities to help keep the kiddos busy while you shop. They even get a goodie bag before they leave…if they have been good, aka with parent approval.
