Meet New Winnebago Scout Shop Employee Tammy Houdek

My name is Tammy E. Houdek and I am a newbie working for Billy J. Opperman. My background with the scouts is that I use to be in Girl Scouts in elementary up to middle school. Then later I worked for Billy at Dollar General for several years and outside of work I volunteer for him with his pack as a Committee Chair Person. I no longer work for Dollar General. Before working for Billy again, I have worked at the Super Target in Waterloo, IA as a sales associate/operator/fitting room checker/cashier.

My personal life outside of work besides volunteering for Billy with BSA, I also volunteering for the America Cancer Society of the Relay for Life and on a committee team to help raise money for the cause of Breast Cancer. I am attending Hawkeye Community College doing pre-classes for Physical Therapy Assistant. I will be accepted into that program Fall of 2014. My interests/hobbies are carpentry building and fixing on houses, horseback riding, hiking, camping, and have a passion for hand tools and power tools.
