Congratulations to our newest Eagle Scouts in the River Valley District! Dylan Lampe, Holden Caloud, Jared Meisgeier, and Joseph Zasadny.

The Winnebago Council has been selected as a pilot council for the new Lion Cub program for Kindergarten boys.

The Winnebago Council has been allocated 8 Venturing spots in their 2017 National Jamboree Contingent and is looking for young men and women who would be interested in attending the event in July 2017 at the Bechtel Summit in West Virginia.

The indoor arena football team, Cedar Rapids Titans, are having their VERY FIRST Scout Night at the US Cellular Center on Saturday, May 21st!

Pack 3179 Pinewood Derby was held Saturday, April 2nd at Lincoln Elementary in Cedar Falls. It was a great day to race all 39 cards indoors. Special thanks to all of the volunteers to put the event on, PALS, Lincoln and Cedar Falls Schools, as well as John Luzaich of the Oster Regent Theater of Cedar Falls for emceeing the event and Boy Scout Troop 500 for assisting as well.
