Cub Scouts wanting to get out to camp early for an extra Day Camp opportunity should plan on attending the Spring Fling at Ingawanis Adventure Base on Saturday, May 10th. Cub Scouts can sign up as individuals (with adult), as dens, or as packs to attend this fun activity with all of the excitement of camp. BB Guns, Archery, Horseback Arena Rides, Games, and Crafts are planned.

The Hawkeye Area Council will be hosting Wood Badge Course C3-172-14 in the fall of 2014 at the Howard H. Cherry Scout Reservation’s Camp Wakonda. Wood Badge offers advanced training for adult leaders involved in all aspects of the Scouting program (Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturing, and Varsity Scouting).

You don’t need experience and you don’t have to be a member of the Boy Scouts of America to join in on this Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience!

Roundtables will now be held on a monthly basis!

The Webelos from Jefferson Middle School in Mason City, Pack 4002, practiced leather working at their meeting the first week of February- a BIG thank you to Springfield Leather for providing leather to fit their Webelos handbooks! Take a look at some of the pictures.
