Between LaPorte City and Washburn, Iowa, the Cotter Road Corn Maze is now open for the season. Enjoy a day of family fun with a corn maze, farm animals and miniature farm animals, a sandbox of corn, games and races, garage sale, and buy fresh eggs and pumpkins!

Troop 2 out of Waterloo will be celebrating their 80th straight year of being chartered (one of the oldest in the state!) with a dinner for everyone who has been a part of Troop 2 over the years on September 21 at 6 p.m. at Ascension Lutheran Church. They are looking for people who might have some history to share!
