Curriculum activity selection opened at least four weeks ago, and will be open for 90 days total….

Last week you may have received a general reminder from the National Jamboree for medical forms, curriculum activity registration, and a photo to upload in your Summit account….

Scouting Leadership has postponed their District Committee & Commissioner Staff meetings AND Eagle Scout Orientations scheduled for tonight, March 5th UNTIL April 2nd at Trinity Lutheran Church in New Hampton. Each of these meetings, as well as the Leader Roundtables will begin at 7:00 p.m.

The Winnebago Council’s STEM Robotics team “Benny and the Jets” competed March 2nd at the Iowa State FTC Championships at the University of Iowa in Iowa City. The four Scouts that participated this year…..

Hosted by Troop 37 and Coe College, AOPII, Sigma Nu, and Lambda Chi Chapters, this workshop is on Saturday, April 13, 2013. Registration is open now and will end March 22, 2013. There are a lot of great merit badge sessions still open!

Cub Scout Pack 3017 held their annual Pinewood Derby on January 19, 2013, at Kimball United Methodist Church in Waterloo. 50 boys raced their cars on the brand new Derby track that they helped purchase. Sibling and parent races were also held.

Klondike Derby was held at Ingawanis Adventure Base on Saturday, February 16, 2013. There was a total of 48 sleds, 41 of them Boy Scouts and the other seven Webelos teams. The Boy Scouts had a 10 way tie for first– all perfect scores!

The staff at the Grand Harbor Resort and Water park would like to invite you and your students to spend Spring Break at the Grand Harbor, where their water park is always 86 degrees.

A service project, car show, fun activities, merit badges, and of course, camping!
