On Thursday, December 12, 2013, the Hudson Tiger Cubs (1st grade Cub Scouts) toured the KWWL studio in Waterloo. Each month, the boys take a field trip, known as “Go See It” to work toward earning their Tiger Cub Badge. They got to watch the filming of the 6:00 news live in the studio, featuring Ron Steele, Mark Schnackenberg, and Rick Coleman. The Tiger Cub learned how the “green screen” works and even got to be filmed with the crew during the final minutes of the segment.
