Katie Byerly’s 4th grade Webelos in Pack 4002 from Mason City had an awesome Pack meeting last week! They visited Good Shepherd Health Center in Mason City. The activity director of the Alzheimers unit had it all set up for them to make gingerbread houses with the residents. Each boy was paired up with an elderly “friend” and helped them make a house. The gingerbread houses stayed with the residents in the dementia unit. There were some amazing interactions between the boys and the residents. They will be counting these gingerbread houses towards their Craftsman badge.
