Steve Schwake Announced as the New Properties Chair

Dear Scouters:
I would like to announce that Steve Schwake has accepted the role of Properties Chair for the Winnebago Council. Steve is replacing Bret Spaulding, who stepped down after several years, in August.
Steve is reorganizing the Properties Committee, and is actively seeking Committee members and volunteers. We are very interested in individuals with specific skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, general contracting, tree removal and excavation. Additionally, we need a large pool of non-professional volunteers to assist in carrying out service projects throughout our Camp and other facilities.
We ask everyone to consider volunteering for our Properties Committee, or plan to actively participate in our multiple work days at Camp Ingawanis. Several projects are underway or been completed at Camp this fall, but we have an extensive list of additional improvements. If your group will be at Camp, please consider a service project.
If you have any of the specific skills listed above, or are interested in just being a non-professional volunteer, please contact Chris Kangas at the Scout Office and help us to gather a great list of volunteers. Chris can be reached at 319-234-2867, or emailed at [email protected].
Thank you to the many of you who have volunteered in the past, and I hope that we can rely on everyone to assist in continuing to make our Camp a beautiful, state of the art facility for many generations of Scouters!
