Shooting Sports Day at Ingawanis, October 27th
The Winnebago Council Shooting Sports Committee will be hosting its first Fall Shooting Sports Day at Ingawanis Adventure Base on Saturday, October 27th. This event is for all Wolf, Bear, and Webelos Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and interested adults. The purpose of the event is to provide an additional opportunity for Cub Scouts to earn their BB gun or Archery Belt Loop and pin and for the Boy Scouts to complete their qualification scores for Rifle Shooting or Archery merit badges. Shotgun will not be available for Boy Scouts. There are only 48 Cub Scout and 32 Boy Scout slots available, so sign up quickly. Cost is $10 per Cub Scout, $15 per Boy Scout, and $5 per adult wishing to shoot (Space available only). Sign-in will begin at 8 am at the East Entrance near the Basement House (not the main entrance) at Ingawanis Adventure Base. Participants need to pre-register and bring a Health Form (Part A), dress for the weather and bring their own lunch. Boy Scout stations will be .22 rifle, Archery, and Action Archery. Cub Scout stations will be Tomahawks, Sling Shot, Archery and BB guns. The event should be completed by 4 pm or upon completion of the requirements for your badges.
