Summer Camp Wrap Up 2013
Thank you to all of you who attended one of the Winnebago Council Camps at Camp Ingawanis this summer. Whether you were one of the Scouts or leaders that received our free sauna and sing-along during week one of Boy Scout Camp, one of our many Cub Scout Twilight participants, our new Webelos Transition Camp, or somewhere in-between we hope you had fun and took advantage of the opportunity that we provided.
We received many positive reviews and several notes to help us improve for next year. I can assure you that many of these improvements were actually enacted during this season and will be passed on to next year’s team.
We appreciate your patronage and hope you are already looking forward to next year. We certainly are. Camp Ingawanis will celebrate its’ 90th Anniversary in 2014 and we’ll be celebrating the opening of our new COPE course, the return of Paint Ball to Boy Scout Camp, and the addition of Mountain Boarding to our programs. Our Cub Scout theme will be “Wild West” and will mark the return of Cub Resident camp to the June time slot, switching places with Boy Scout camp. We’ve got a lot of fun planned and hope you decide to join us.
