Please join me in welcoming to the Council staff our new Ingawanis Adventure Base Caretaker Team, Hank and Kelsey Holtmeyer. Hank and Kelsey will reside year round on site at Ingawanis. Their team duties among a myriad of detail tasks will include Building managing, training and maintaining a Campmaster Corps of weekend program service volunteers. They will have minimal maintenance responsibilities to keep the main entrance plowed, mowed and aesthetically appealing. Other duties will include liquid fuel management, meeting and greeting camp customers and security of the property.
Hank is an Eagle Scout and multiple year Ingawanis staff alum and was trained in Camp maintenance by retiring Camp Ranger/Caretaker Tim Cook. Hank has a successful background in the Plumbing, Electrical and HVAC Trades. Hank presently works full time for Compressed Air & Equipment La Porte City. Hank is a Graduate of La Porte City High School and carries a NCCER Certificate in Level 1 HVAC from Kirkwood Community College. Hank is also a licensed Plumber.
Hank and Kelsey have two children, Karson, 2 years and Henry, 4 months. Kelsey works locally in Denver at The Pizza Place. When you visit camp please take a moment to introduce yourself and welcome them on board. We look forward to a long and productive relationship serving young people.
