Winnebago Council Update on COVID-19 as of 3.30.20
The following information regarding local events and prevention measures is based on the latest available guidance. As this is an evolving situation, this information is subject to change. We will continue to update you on relevant developments, and we appreciate your understanding of any necessary adjustments in the interest of health and safety.
In the meantime, should you have any questions or concerns about a specific upcoming event or activity please reach out to your district executive. We will do everything we can to answer your question(s) using the information available to us.
Based upon Governor Reynolds issuing a State of Public Health Disaster Emergency on 3.17.20 and extending said on 3.27.2020, our efforts to protect the staff and volunteers of the Winnebago Council continue.
Please be advised, until April 8, 2020, we are extending the following changes:
- The Winnebago Council Service Center is closed to the general public until April 8, 2020.
- Council professional staff will still be working and available via their cell phones and through email.
- The Winnebago Council National Scout Shop in Waterloo will continue to be closed until April 8, 2020.
- The Mason City Scout Shop operated by the Winnebago Council will be closed and will re-open April 8, 2020.
