The Hawkeye Area Council will be hosting Wood Badge Course C3-172-14 in the fall of 2014 at the Howard H. Cherry Scout Reservation’s Camp Wakonda. Wood Badge offers advanced training for adult leaders involved in all aspects of the Scouting program (Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturing, and Varsity Scouting).
This year’s course is being offered to Scout leaders from the Hawkeye Area, Northeast Iowa, and the Winnebago Councils. It will not only offer participants an outstanding opportunity to learn new leadership skills but it will also give them the ability to meet Scouters from throughout Eastern Iowa.
